Christian Lending Library
About the Library:
Our materials are purchased from Light & Life Publishing as well as the Christian Book Distributor (CBD) and are reviewed by Fr. Chris before being added to the collection. We offer inspirational books, movies, and music for parishioners of all ages; children, pre-teens, teens and adults. Stop by and browse today!

Lending Requirements:
Books are due back two weeks from the borrowing date.
Movies are due back in one week (or, next time you come to church).
Any item can be renewed.
Borrowers must be church members.

Adults:  Get a spiritual recharge from Orthodox authors such as Fr. Anthony Coniaris and Fr. Stanley Harakas, as well as mainstream Christian authors such as Dr. James Dobson (founder and chairman of Focus on the Family), Pastor Charles Stanley (In-Touch Ministries), Reverend Billy Graham, and many more.

We also have offerings addressing Family/Parenting issues as well as items related to Grieving to help console parishioners who have lost a loved one.

Families:  We are steadily building our offerings of family movies. All are “clean, entertaining and thought provoking.  Why not start a Sunday night tradition of a movie from our Library. Our “family movies are typically geared to viewers older than 10 years of age; however we have many movies for younger children to watch with Mom & Dad, too.

A few recommendations are:
A Perfect Stranger, The Ultimate Gift, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Time Changer,
The Miracle of the Cards

Children/Youth:  Let’s face it; our kids are exposed to enough violent, anti-God, anti-Christian, anti-family, and “politically correct messages in today’s world. The Christian Lending Library helps balance what they learn outside the church by employing biblical values and teachings through lighthearted, fictional stories and fun movies. The authors and producers of our materials know the importance of family and faith, and our church provides these wonderful items to help plant Godly seeds in our parish children.

Recommendations for kids & parents: Devotionals are books filled with one or two page stories relating God’s word to our everyday lives through common situations and scripture.

Sunday School classes K-5 visit the Library as a group about once a month.
Make a Donations in Someone’s Name!

We accept monetary donations to purchase special reading collections/books in memory of a loved one, or a special occasion (ex. birth of a child).  A label is placed inside the cover of the book noting the dedication. Inquire within the Library if you are interested in making this kind of donation.
Our parish Lending Library is open every Sunday during Family Hour. We are located next to the Bookstore inside the Family Life Center. Our Staff includes the following volunteers:
